Such a good story about not giving up. The first person my publisher asked to write the forward to my book turned us down. I was discouraged. My publisher made a second suggestion. My temptation was to say “there’s no way she’ll say yes.” But instead I said, “she’d be perfect” and crossed my fingers. Then I couldn’t find an email despite trying all my connections. Finally, a friend was able to give me the contact we needed. The “long shot” said yes. Persistence pays off and never underestimate what you can do.

That is SUCH good news, Joanne! I'm so happy for you and I can't wait to read your book. Thanks for sharing.
You are nothing if not persistent and I’m sure an awesome, aka fun, interview.
Thank you Diane xoxo
